Here are some of the things we do to be eco-friendly and sustainable

Given that we are located in sunny Florida and surrounded by water, we take the responsibility to create delightfully lather-ific soapy products in an eco-friendly and sustainable manner. Here are some of the eco-friendly practices we use to do our part to save the planet while creating fun, functional and true soaps that are better for you and your family:

1) Use what Mother Nature provides: when possible, we use the sun to melt the hard oils that go into our soaps, instead of using the stove or microwave;

2) Use responsibly sourced ingredients like:

  • RAC (Rain Forest Alliance) and RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certified palm oils;
  • Responsibly sourced Micas (colorants);

3) Ditch paper and packaging products where possible and only use recycled and recyclable paper. Things like:

  • Paper towels: We use cloth, wash it and reuse it during the making of our delightful suds.
  • Shipping Materials: We’ve chosen @sustainable.packaging for our shipping materials.  Their plastic free molded packaging made from 100% recycled and recyclable materials is perfect to protect your lather-ific soap as it makes it way to you.

4) Ditch the single use plastics and other materials:  we’ve gotten rid of most plastics or single use materials in the creation and packaging of our delightful bars.  Everything is re-used.

Our commitment to the environment is unwavering. We'll always strive for the most eco-friendly product and creation method for our fab soaps. Could we do better? Likely. We'll continue to evolve and reduce our footprint on the environment so that you can make greener choices. Together we all make a difference!
